　今回のこのフォーラムでは、アイテックからも高橋淳取締役が「健康・医療」の分科会（２月２日）にて日本の救急医療システムモデルを発表・紹介し、今後の日本の医療分野における

サウジアラビア進出に向けて大きくアピールを行いました。

　2011年11月に実施したイラク保健省エンジニア第2回研修の模様が、NHKラジオで放送されました。放送では、イラク人研修生や当社社長へのインタビューも紹介されました。

＜放送内容＞
イラク国の400床10教育病院建設プロジェクトに関わるイラク人技術者たちが11月5日から来日し、日本で研修を受けました。オバマ米大統領は本年12月末までに米軍をイラクから撤退させることを改めて宣言しましたが、本格的な復興が待ち望まれる中、イラクに欠かせないのは医療の復興です。あいつぐ戦争に苦しんできたイラクでは1986年以降大型病院は建設されていません。400床の病院を10ヶ所建設するという今回の計画は、イラク政府が威信をかける壮大な医療復興計画の第一歩と言えます。放送では、来日した技術者たちの取材から、イラク復興への展望や思い、並びに同病院プロジェクトに携わるアイテックの思いもあわせて伝えています。

Interviews with Iraqi trainees and the president of ITEC were also introduced in the program.

The Iraqi engineers joining the Project for Construction of Ten (400 bed) Educational Hospitals came to Japan from November 5, and took the training in Japan. Barack Obama, President of the United States, again declared that the US troops will pull out of Iraq at the end of this year. While full-fledged restoration is waited for, restoration in healthcare field is indispensable for Iraq. In Iraq, large hospitals have not been constructed since 1986 due to suffering from many wars. This plan, the construction of 400-bed hospitals at 10 sites, can be the first step of massive restoration plan for healthcare service, which Iraqi government put their national prestige on. The program is broadcasting the engineers’ prospects and hopes for the restoration of Iraq, and also hope of ITEC working for the project.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq H.E. Mr. Nouri Kamil al-Maliki paid an official visit to Japan from November 20 to 23, 2011. During his visit, he attended Japan-Iraq Industrial Cooperation Conference and Welcome Reception held by Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East on November 21, 2011.

We have provided consulting services of the Project for Construction of Ten (400 bed) Educational Hospitals in the Republic of Iraq since 2009.
As a part of this project, we invited 17 engineers who belong to the Ministry of Health in Iraq to Japan, and conducted the training of hospital construction, from November 5　to 21, 2011.
ITEC staff, professors of universities and staff of construction companies, design companies, an IT company and a ME engineering company gave comprehensive lectures of hospital construction, such as basic planning, tender, design, operation planning, construction supervision, maintenance, ME, and IT system. During the training, the trainees also visited hospitals, a ME showroom and construction sites.

In the near future, the further training for the other engineers who belong to the Ministry of Health in Iraq will be conducted in Amman, Jordan and Erbil, Iraq.
