 ITEC was founded in 1981, as the first healthcare management consulting firm in Japan. At that time, no hospital in Japan was aware of importance of good hospital management and patient services.
Under such circumstances, our first project started out of Japan.
In 1983, ITEC was awarded a contract for consulting services for the construction of 400-bed general hospitals in thirteen cities of Iraq as a member of the Japanese Consortium.
ITEC was in charge of the comprehensive consulting services for the project, from the site survey and detailed design to supervision on construction, operation, and maintenance. The hospitals were constructed with "Full Turn-Key"method, and it was a major milestone in the growth of our company.
Since then, we have been engaged in the largest number of projects(*) as an independent Japanese healthcare management consulting firm.
Now, we are proud to be the most experienced total healthcare management consulting firm in Japan. |

| Although majority of our projects used to be foreign-based at an early stage of our company, domestic projects have gradually increased due to increasing demands in Japan. Now, the ratio of domestic and foreign projects is 6:4. |
